On March 11th, 2019, Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CSIE) warmly welcomed officers from Lien Centre for Social Innovation, Singapore Management University and students from Keio University, Japan. Attending the meeting, There was Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Nam Thang, Director of CSIE; Mr Pham Viet Hoai, Chairman and founder of Kym Viet; Mrs Le Thuy Trang, Director of Dao’s Care, CSIE interns and international students.
At the beginning of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Truong Thi Nam Thang had a presentation about the foundation and development of Center for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, National Economics University and overview of social enterprise in Vietnam. During the seminar, Kym Viet and Dao’s Care’s representative has also introduced their businesses as examples of social enterprises in Vietnam.
The meeting happened in an exciting atmosphere with information about social enterprises and social impact businesses in Vietnam, Japan and Singapore. International students and NEU’s student discussed and shared knowledge in a friendly manner.
This program was a great beginning for the cooperation between two universities in general and two centres in particular. We hope that these international students will have a great time to learn and experience in Vietnam.
