In a rainy afternoon this week, CSIE and Mrs. Cherrell Picton – an Australian Social Enterprise advisor – met and talked with Think Playgrounds – Nghĩ về Sân Chơi trong phố at Xuan Dieu Str., Tay Ho, Hanoi. Here, two founders of the social enterprise, Ms. Kim Duc and Mr. Nguyen Tieu Quoc Dat, two founders of the business, had interesting sharing about their brainchild. At Think Playgrounds, children not only can have fun but also can create their own play models with materials familiar with Vietnamese people such as wood, tires, … In addition to providing a friendly educational environment, the social enterprise places a great emphasis on sustainability and localism. Here, people can find tire seesaw, rocking horses, wooden houses,… things that are closely connected with Hanoi’s historical culture.
